My Husband and I recently realized that the upholstery industry, especially services offered to the public were reaching unrealistic pricing for most families.
We started a project to refresh our 2005 Yamaha SX230 jetboat. After calling several upholstery service providers, we discovered that the price point that was requested was way above our expectation. I had taken on learning the upholstery trade around 7 years ago by helping a family friend and really enjoyed the work, but 3 years ago I ventured out to explore other avenues in my career.
This seemed to line up perfectly after the birth of our 2-year-old and we decided to start an upholstery company to try to bring affordable services back to the upholstery industry.
